Prior to surgery, we develop a pain management plan for before, during, and after the procedure. Administration of anesthesia is determined by your pet’s breed, age, condition, and type of surgery. Pet owners receive information and instructions regarding pain management and pet care, for every phase of the procedure and aftercare.
Before undergoing anesthesia, your pet receives a thorough exam with laboratory testing and bloodwork to determine overall health and patient risk associated with surgery. During the time your pet is under anesthesia, our veterinary technicians monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, and blood oxygen levels. Once surgery is over, the patient is closely monitored until alert and fully recovered from anesthesia.
Patient safety is our priority for any surgery, whether a routine procedure, such as spay or neuter, or a more complex operation. We employ the latest in cutting-edge technology to enhance our surgical options, including laser surgery and laparoscopy.
